Helping through another lockdown

At the end of January, Vulnerable Citizen Support has been established as a CIC for a full year. In that year we have:

  • Provided 105,750 meals to struggling families and individuals across Leeds
  • Delivered over 7,000 food parcels
  • Helped with over 1200 baby bank referrals
  • Rehoused rough sleepers and homeless families
  • Assisted with a major deportation case

Unfortunately, as we’re now into our third, tougher lockdown since the pandemic started, we know these numbers will be even higher this year as more and more people need help. If you’re struggling, for any reason, or you know anyone who is, please get in touch. We know that the economic effects of Covid are really starting to take hold now and we can help with food parcels, basic essentials, baby provisions or advice and referrals. We are also resuming our pop-up food bank at Mike Tobins gym in Armley every Friday between

Another lockdown means that our resources are stretched to the limit again though, so if you can help with cash donations, food or baby equipment, or if you can volunteer or deliver food parcels for us, please get in touch or visit our donation page. Just £4 could provide a food parcel for a struggling family and it would make an amazing difference during lockdown –
